2 Pack Systems

Chingfords offer a range of two pack coatings for metal, wood and plastic.

Epoxy Finishes

2-pack epoxy high build finish are durable gloss finish for interior or exterior use in conjunction with appropriate primers and undercoats.

Epoxy Zinc Primers

High build 2-pack zinc silicate & epoxy zinc phosphate primer/buildcoat. Anti-corrosive protection of carbon steel surfaces prepared by abrasive blast cleaning. Can be applied at thicknesses between 75 and 200 microns dry to provide both primer and buildcoat in a single coat. A top coat is only required for decorative purposes. For use in internal/external conditions, including offshore and petrochemical applications.

Polyurethane Finishes

High performance fast drying acrylic urethane gloss finish for use where long term exterior gloss and colour retention characteristics are required. Material is suitable for use as final coat or coats in conjunction with epoxy or polyurethane based protective systems for new construction or maintenance purposes. Excellent tolerance to low temperature curing conditions.

Heat Resisting Finishes

For application on to steel surfaces where heat resistance is required. Max surface temperatures:

• Red 125°C
• White 250°C
• Black 250°C
• Grey 250°C
• Aluminium 600°C

Where corrosion resistance is require a zinc silicate primer should be used.
